Cool to see that benefits of #intermittentfasting are being evaluated in scientific studies. This one performed at UC San Diego looked at a #timerestrictedeating protocol involving a 14 hour fast and 10 hour eating interval in patients with #metabolicsyndrome. Results showed improvement in Hgb A1c (3 month average blood sugar), LDL (bad) #cholesterol, weight, and blood pressure. They found the regimen to be safe and sustainable.
